Space Rock Breaker is a Casual game by WAKA WAKA, out for around 11 months. This guide covers the official PC requirements, modelled frame rates on 28 graphics cards, VRAM needs, processor and memory advice, the best settings and laptop performance.

Where it lands among 937 modelled titles, with a look at what that means for each class of card.
On our demand scale Space Rock Breaker scores 7. That makes it harder to run than 28% of the 937 games in our data set, which we class as a light game for graphics hardware.
The score is derived from the minimum GPU in the publisher requirements, GTX 1050 | RX-580, scaled to a 1080p High equivalent. It is a modelling choice rather than a measurement, so read it as a ranking more than a promise.
On the CPU side, Space Rock Breaker scores 32, ahead of 47% of the 937 modelled games.
The official specs for Space Rock Breaker, compared with real GPUs and processors.
These are the developer figures on Steam, and patches can change them.
At the bottom end, Steam gives GTX 1050 | RX-580. That card manages roughly 140 FPS at 1080p on Low according to our estimates, falling to around 77 FPS on High.
Only a minimum requirement is published for Space Rock Breaker. Our figures extrapolate from it, so allow a wider margin for error.
RAM starts at 4 GB RAM and goes to 4 GB RAM for the recommended tier, while the install needs an unstated amount of space.
The lowest graphics card we tested that hits each target in Space Rock Breaker, plus the first desktop RTX 50 card that does.

| 1440p 100 FPS, High | GTX 1060 6GB | RTX 5050 | GTX 1660 Super, RTX 2060, RX 6600 |
| 4K 60 FPS, High with upscaling | GTX 1060 6GB | RTX 5050 | GTX 1660 Super, RTX 2060, RX 6600 |
| 4K 60 FPS, Ultra with upscaling | GTX 1060 6GB | RTX 5050 | GTX 1660 Super, RTX 2060, RX 6600 |
Our estimates put 1080p 60 FPS on High within reach of the GTX 1060 6GB and above, with the RTX 5050 as the cheapest RTX 50 route there.
For a smooth 1440p on High you want at least the GTX 1060 6GB. Within the RTX 50 range that means the RTX 5050 or above.
4K is the hard case. With Quality DLSS, FSR or XeSS-style upscaling enabled, the RTX 5050 is where the RTX 50 range first hits 60 FPS on High.
NVIDIA, AMD and Intel cards all appear in the list. For a personal answer with your own CPU and RAM, use the can my PC run it checker, or see whether your processor limits you in the bottleneck checker.

The best-balanced pairing is the RTX 5090 with Ryzen 7 9800X3D: its processor ceiling (around 291 FPS) sits close to what the card can draw (around 360+ FPS) at 1440p, so neither part is wasted.
These pairings are examples, not recommendations to buy. Swap in your own parts with the bottleneck checker to see which side limits you.
RAM and disk space from the Steam page, with a practical view.
The publisher lists 4 GB RAM of memory as the minimum and 4 GB RAM as recommended. In real use, with everything else running, 16 GB is enough for most people.
On drives: Steam does not insist on an SSD, though one will shorten loads.
Size your memory with the RAM calculator: it adds Windows, a browser and any streaming to the game's own needs. Time the download with the download time calculator.

If you are comparing Space Rock Breaker with other games, these pages cover titles with a similar hardware appetite or shared genres. Demand scores run on the same scale, so they are directly comparable.
On Steam the game sits at Overwhelmingly Positive: 96% positive across 2,651 reviews at the time of checking (2026-11-02). Larger communities tend to share more settings guides and fixes.
The game is out for around 11 months. Updates from WAKA WAKA and new graphics drivers can both change how it runs, so revisit your settings occasionally.
Facts come from the public Steam store page. We have not tested the game on every card, so frame rates on this page are modelled estimates.
A short, honest note on how the numbers are produced.
Here is what feeds the estimates: demand 7 from the minimum card, CPU score 32 (from an assumed processor line), and a 1080p High VRAM figure of 2 GB (estimated from the demand score).
Each card is scored against the game demand, then scaled for resolution, quality preset and DLSS, FSR or XeSS-style upscaling. If a card has less VRAM than the game wants, the estimate drops, and a processor ceiling stops frame rates running away.
Nothing on this page is a measured benchmark. Expect real frame rates to differ with drivers, updates and your own system, and treat the tables as a guide.
Short answers to the most common questions about running Space Rock Breaker on PC.
The minimum card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 | AMD Radeon RX-580 and the recommended card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 | AMD Radeon RX-580. For the processor, Steam suggests 2.5 GHz Quad-core Intel or AMD processor, and RAM runs from 4 GB RAM to 4 GB RAM.
Start with the card-by-card verdicts, then run your own parts through the checker. The lowest card we tested at 60 FPS on 1080p High is the GTX 1060 6GB.
The GTX 1060 6GB is where 1080p at 60 FPS on High starts according to our model, and the RTX 5050 is the cheapest RTX 50 way to get there.
Our estimates put the GTX 1060 6GB as the lowest card to achieve 60 FPS at 1440p on High. The first desktop RTX 50 card to do it is the RTX 5050.
Our estimate is around 253 FPS at 1080p and 253 FPS at 1440p using the High preset. It has 16 GB of VRAM, which is comfortable for this game at 1440p, so you can usually raise the settings.
The model shows 253 FPS at 1440p on High and 253 FPS once Quality DLSS, FSR or XeSS-style upscaling is on. Treat both as estimates.
For 4K you want a high-end card with DLSS, FSR or XeSS-style upscaling. By our estimates the RTX 5050 is the first desktop RTX 50 card to achieve 60 FPS at 4K on High with Quality DLSS, FSR or XeSS-style upscaling.
We estimate around 2 GB at 1080p, 2.6 GB at 1440p and 3.6 GB at 4K using the High preset. So 8GB is fine at 1080p and fine at 1440p. Treat it as a guide and leave some memory spare.
The model suggests 2 GB (1080p), 2.6 GB (1440p) and 3.6 GB (4K) on High. The figure is derived from the publisher recommended specs; read it as a guide.
For the processor, Steam suggests 2.5 GHz Quad-core Intel or AMD processor and lists 2.5 GHz Quad-core Intel or AMD processor as the minimum, and Core i3-12100F, Ryzen 5 3600, Core i5-12400F, Ryzen 5 5600 and faster should stay above 60 FPS according to our estimates.
RAM is 4 GB RAM at minimum and 4 GB RAM recommended. Once the operating system and background apps are counted, 16 GB is a sensible target.
Steam does not state an SSD requirement, but an SSD is recommended for loading times. Check the Steam page for the install size.
At typical wattage, RTX 5050 Laptop, RTX 5060 Laptop, RTX 5070 Laptop, RTX 5070 Ti Laptop, RTX 5080 Laptop, RTX 5090 Laptop reach 60 FPS at 1080p on High according to our model. Power limit and cooling decide how close a real laptop gets.
A sound recipe: High preset, DLSS, FSR or XeSS-style upscaling on, then cut the most demanding settings step by step. The best settings table lists where each card should begin.
