This is our PC performance guide for PowerWash Simulator 2, a Casual/Indie/Simulation game by FuturLab. It covers requirements, estimated FPS across 28 cards, memory needs, CPU and RAM advice, settings and what to expect on a gaming laptop.

How this game ranks among 937 modelled titles, and how that plays out for entry, mid-range and high-end cards.
Across the 937 games we have modelled, PowerWash Simulator 2 lands on a demand score of 49, ahead of 96% of them. In plain terms it is one of the heaviest games in our data set.
The score is derived from the recommended graphics card in the publisher requirements, Geforce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB, scaled to a 1080p High equivalent. It is a modelling choice rather than a measurement, so read it as a ranking more than a promise.
On the CPU side, PowerWash Simulator 2 scores 51, ahead of 98% of the 937 modelled games.
The official specs for PowerWash Simulator 2, compared with real graphics cards and processors.
These are the developer figures on Steam, and patches can change them.
At the bottom end, Steam gives GeForce GTX 1060 6GB. That card manages roughly 44 FPS at 1080p on Low according to our estimates, falling to around 24 FPS on High.
Steam suggests Geforce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB as the recommended card, good for close to 66 FPS at 1080p and 43 FPS at 1440p on High here. That is above 60 FPS at 1080p, so the recommended spec reads as a comfortable 1080p target.
The recommended processor, Intel Core i5-13600K, can feed around 102 FPS here according to our estimates, a useful ceiling to compare with your GPU.
Memory is listed as 8 GB RAM at minimum and 16 GB RAM recommended, with 16 GB available space needed on disk.
From a 30 FPS floor to 4K, here is the card each target asks for in PowerWash Simulator 2.

None of these is a shopping list. They show how the balance shifts as you move up the range, and the bottleneck checker lets you try your own pair.
What Steam names for memory and disk space, and what it means in practice.
8 GB RAM is the minimum and 16 GB RAM the recommended memory. Once Windows and your usual apps are counted, 16 GB covers it.
The install asks for roughly 16 GB. Downloading it takes around 25 min at 100 Mbps and close to 5 min at 500 Mbps, allowing for overhead.
On drives: Steam does not insist on an SSD, though one will shorten loads.
Work out your total in the RAM calculator, which adds your usual background apps to what the game asks for. Time the download with the download time calculator.

More PC game guides to compare with.
These guides sit closest to PowerWash Simulator 2 in our data, either because they share genres or because they are about as hard to run. The demand scores use one common scale.
At the time we checked (2026-11-02) Steam showed 7,588 reviews with a Very Positive rating and 92% positive. That is a useful signal for how widely played PowerWash Simulator 2 is.
PowerWash Simulator 2 has been out for close to 13 months, which means drivers and patches are likely still changing its performance. Re-check settings after major updates.
Facts come from the public Steam store page. Frame rates here are modelled, since we have not tested the game on every card.
A short, honest note on how the numbers are produced.
The inputs for PowerWash Simulator 2 are a graphics demand of 49 (taken from the recommended card), a processor score of 51 (from the listed processor line) and 6 GB of VRAM at 1080p High (estimated from the demand score).
Frame rates scale each graphics card against that demand, then adjust for resolution, preset, upscaling and a memory penalty when a card runs short of VRAM. CPU limits cap the result using a fast reference processor in the GPU tables.
All FPS, VRAM and CPU figures are modelled. They are meant for comparing hardware and settings, and your own testing should have the last word.
The questions players ask most about PowerWash Simulator 2 on PC.
Expect to need at least GeForce GTX 1060 6GB, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Mobile 6GB, AMD Radeon RX 5600M 6GB, ideally Geforce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB, Radeon RX 6700 XT 8GB. Steam pairs that with Intel Core i5-13600K, AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, and memory of 8 GB RAM (minimum) or 16 GB RAM (recommended). Storage needed is 16 GB available space.
The quickest route is the can my PC run it checker. As a rule of thumb, the RTX 4060 is the first card we tested that holds 60 FPS at 1080p on High.
The RTX 4060 is where 1080p at 60 FPS on High starts according to our model, and the RTX 5060 is the cheapest RTX 50 way to get there.
At 1440p, 60 FPS on High starts with the RX 7700 XT. In the RTX 50 range that means the RTX 5070 or above.
Expect roughly 93 FPS at 1080p and 60 FPS at 1440p on High. With 16 GB of memory, 1440p is comfortable, so you can usually raise the settings.
Expect close to 81 FPS at native 1440p on High, or close to 122 FPS upscaled. Your processor and drivers can shift the result.
For 4K you want a high-end card with upscaling. On our figures the RTX 5070 is the first desktop RTX 50 card to hit 60 FPS at 4K on High with Quality upscaling.
On High settings the model wants close to 6 GB at 1080p, 7.8 GB at 1440p and 10.8 GB at 4K. An 8GB card is therefore fine at 1080p and tight at 1440p.
The model suggests 6 GB (1080p), 7.8 GB (1440p) and 10.8 GB (4K) on High. The figure is derived from the publisher recommended specs; read it as a guide.
Steam points to Intel Core i5-13600K, AMD Ryzen 7 7700X and lists Intel Core i3 10100TE (Q2 2020), Intel Core i5 7400 (Q1 2017), AMD Ryzen™ 3 1300X (Q3 2017) AMD Ryzen™ 5 PRO 2500U (Q1 2019), Intel Core i7 8650U (Q3 2017), as the minimum. Our CPU table shows Core i3-12100F, Ryzen 5 3600, Core i5-12400F, Ryzen 5 5600 and faster holding a card above 60 FPS.
RAM is 8 GB RAM at minimum and 16 GB RAM recommended. Once the operating system and background apps are counted, 16 GB is a sensible target.
Plan for 16 GB available space of free space. No SSD requirement is listed, though faster storage still helps loading.
At typical wattage, RTX 5070 Laptop, RTX 5070 Ti Laptop, RTX 5080 Laptop, RTX 5090 Laptop reach 60 FPS at 1080p on High according to our model. Power limit and cooling decide how close a real laptop gets.
