Multiverse developed Pax Autocratica, an Action/Indie/Simulation release that has been out for about 3 months. Below you will find the published system requirements, modelled FPS for 28 GPUs, graphics memory estimates, CPU and RAM guidance and a settings plan.

Where this game sits among 937 modelled titles, and what that means for different classes of GPU.
On our demand scale Pax Autocratica scores 35. That makes it harder to run than 90% of the 937 games in our data set, which we class as a demanding game for graphics hardware.
Behind the number is the publisher recommended card, Nvidia® GTX 2060 Super / RX 5700 XT (8GB+ of VRAM), converted to an equivalent 1080p High workload. That makes the score comparable between games, though not exact for any single one.
On the CPU side, Pax Autocratica scores 30, ahead of 43% of the 937 modelled games.
Everything Steam gives for Pax Autocratica, then what it means for real hardware.
These are the developer figures on Steam, and patches can change them.
Steam names 1080p: Nvidia® GTX 1060 6G / RX 480 (6GB+ of VRAM) | 1440p: Nvidia® GTX 1070 8G / RX Vega 56 (8GB+ of VRAM) as the minimum GPU. Expect around 62 FPS at 1080p Low, or about 34 FPS if you raise the preset to High.
At the recommended level Steam gives Nvidia® GTX 2060 Super / RX 5700 XT (8GB+ of VRAM). We estimate 80 FPS at 1080p and 52 FPS at 1440p on High. That is above 60 FPS at 1080p, so the recommended spec reads as a comfortable 1080p target.
On the CPU side the recommended entry is Intel i7-8700K / AMD Ryzen 5 3600, which our model rates at roughly 103 FPS of frame preparation for Pax Autocratica.
Memory is listed as 16 GB RAM at minimum and 16 GB RAM recommended, with 40 GB available space needed on disk.

RAM and disk space from the Steam page, with a practical view.
Memory first. Steam sets 16 GB RAM as the minimum and 16 GB RAM as the recommended amount. With Windows, a browser and a chat app open, 16 GB leaves comfortable headroom.
On disk, plan for about 40 GB free. At 100 Mbps with typical overhead that is roughly 1 h 3 min to download, or around 13 min at 500 Mbps.
Steam does not state an SSD requirement, so an SSD still improves loading times, but a hard drive should not stop the game launching.
Add up your own needs in the RAM calculator: it adds Windows, a browser and any streaming to the game's own needs. Time the download with the download time calculator.

Steam user reviews put Pax Autocratica at Very Positive (91% positive from 2,201 reviews, checked 2026-11-02). It is a measure of popularity and sentiment, not of technical performance.
Pax Autocratica has been out for about 3 months, which means drivers and patches are likely still changing its performance. Re-check settings after major updates.
The facts above are from the public Steam store page. We have not benchmarked every card, so treat the frame rates on this page as estimates from our model.
A short, honest note on how the numbers are produced.
Here is what feeds the estimates: demand 35 from the recommended card, CPU score 30 (from the listed processor line), and a 1080p High VRAM figure of 5 GB (estimated from the demand score).
The model divides a card's performance score by the game demand, scaled for resolution, preset and DLSS, FSR or XeSS-style upscaling, with a penalty when memory runs short and a ceiling set by a fast reference processor.
Nothing on this page is a measured benchmark. Expect real frame rates to differ with drivers, updates and your own system, and treat the tables as a guide.
Short answers to the most common questions about running Pax Autocratica on PC.
Expect to need at least 1080p: Nvidia® GTX 1060 6G / RX 480 (6GB+ of VRAM) | 1440p: Nvidia® GTX 1070 8G / AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 (8GB+ of VRAM), ideally Nvidia® GTX 2060 Super / RX 5700 XT (8GB+ of VRAM). Steam pairs that with Intel i7-8700K / AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or equivalent, and memory of 16 GB RAM (minimum) or 16 GB RAM (recommended). Storage needed is 40 GB available space.
Start with the card-by-card verdicts, then run your own parts through the checker. The lowest card we tested at 60 FPS on 1080p High is the RTX 2060.
For 60 FPS at 1080p on High you want at least the RTX 2060. Among RTX 50 cards the RTX 5050 is the first to clear it.
The Arc B580 is the lowest card we tested that holds 60 FPS at 1440p on High, with the RTX 5060 the first RTX 50 option.
At High settings it should manage about 130 FPS (1080p) and 84 FPS (1440p). 16 GB of VRAM is comfortable for 1440p, so you can usually raise the settings.
On our figures it manages around 119 FPS at 1440p on High, and about 179 FPS with Quality upscaling. Real results vary with drivers, the scene and your processor.
At 4K you will lean on upscaling: the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB is where RTX 50 first manages 60 FPS on High that way.
On High settings the model wants about 5 GB at 1080p, 6.5 GB at 1440p and 9.0 GB at 4K. An 8GB card is therefore fine at 1080p and fine at 1440p.
The model suggests 5 GB (1080p), 6.5 GB (1440p) and 9.0 GB (4K) on High. The figure is derived from the publisher recommended specs; read it as a guide.
For the processor, Steam suggests Intel i7-8700K / AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or equivalent and lists Intel i5-8600 / AMD Ryzen 5 1600x as the minimum, and Core i3-12100F, Ryzen 5 3600, Core i5-12400F, Ryzen 5 5600 and faster should stay above 60 FPS on our figures.
The listing asks for 16 GB RAM minimum and 16 GB RAM recommended memory. In real use, 16 GB is a sensible target.
Plan for 40 GB available space of free space. Steam does not state an SSD requirement, but an SSD is recommended for loading times.
The laptop GPUs that hold 60 FPS at 1080p on High at typical power are RTX 5060 Laptop, RTX 5070 Laptop, RTX 5070 Ti Laptop, RTX 5080 Laptop, RTX 5090 Laptop. Wattage and cooling will change that.
Try High with the best upscaler in the menu, then reduce shadows and volumetrics if you need more frames. Use the settings table as a first guess for your card.
Graphics demand is 35 (90% of the 937 modelled games sit below it) and CPU demand is 30 (43% below), so we class it as demanding.
Performance is likely to move as the game is updated. Use these estimates as a guide today and test again after major releases.
