Looking at Haste, an Action, Adventure and Indie title from Landfall. We work through the official specs, estimate frame rates on 28 GPUs, size up the VRAM and processor needs and suggest settings and laptop options.

Where it lands among 937 modelled titles, and how that plays out for entry, mid-range and high-end cards.
Across the 937 games we have modelled, Haste lands on a demand score of 11, ahead of 45% of them. In plain terms it is a light game for graphics hardware.
Behind the number is the publisher recommended card, GTX 970 or AMD R9 290X (4GB VRAM with Shader Model 5.0 or better), converted to an equivalent 1080p High workload. That makes the score comparable between games, though not exact for any single one.
Processor demand is rated separately: Haste scores 19 on our CPU scale, higher than 18% of the games we model.

What Steam lists for memory and disk space, and what it means in practice.
The publisher lists 8 GB RAM of memory as the minimum and 8 GB RAM as recommended. In real use, with everything else running, 16 GB is enough for most people.
Storage is listed at close to 6 GB. Expect around 9 min to download on a 100 Mbps line, or roughly 2 min on 500 Mbps.
Steam does not state an SSD requirement, so an SSD still improves loading times, but a hard drive should not stop the game launching.
Work out your total in the RAM calculator, which adds your usual background apps to what the game asks for. Time the download with the download time calculator.

Details here come from Steam's public store listing. Frame rates here are modelled, since we have not tested the game on every card.
A short, honest note on how the numbers are produced.
Three numbers drive this page: graphics demand 11 (from the recommended card), CPU score 19 (from the listed processor line) and VRAM of 4 GB at 1080p High (stated by the publisher).
The model divides a card's performance score by the game demand, scaled for resolution, preset and upscaling, with a penalty when memory runs short and a ceiling set by a fast reference processor.
Nothing on this page is a measured benchmark. Expect real frame rates to differ with drivers, updates and your own system, and treat the tables as a guide.
