Test your own GPU, CPU and settings on this title
Niche Games developed TUNG, an Action/Indie game that has been out for close to 1 month. Below you will find the published system requirements, modelled FPS for 28 GPUs, graphics memory estimates, CPU and RAM guidance and a settings plan.

Where this game sits among 937 modelled titles, and what that means for different classes of GPU.
On our demand scale TUNG scores 28. That makes it harder to run than 80% of the 937 games in our data set, which we class as a demanding game for graphics hardware.
It comes from the recommended card on the Steam page (GTX 1080), which we map onto a common performance scale and convert to 1080p High. Treat it as a relative guide.
Its CPU score is 32, so it asks more of a processor than 47% of the games in our list.
Everything Steam gives for TUNG, then what it means for real hardware.
Taken from the Steam store page; developers can revise these with updates.
The listed minimum is GTX 1050. Our model puts it near 35 FPS at 1080p on Low and 19 FPS on High, so treat it as an entry ticket rather than a target.
At the recommended level Steam gives GTX 1080. We estimate 81 FPS at 1080p and 52 FPS at 1440p on High. That is above 60 FPS at 1080p, so the recommended spec reads as a comfortable 1080p target.
Memory is listed as 8 GB RAM at minimum and 16 GB RAM recommended, with 3 GB available space needed on disk.
Which card hits which target in TUNG, from a 30 FPS floor to 4K.

| 4K 60 FPS, High with upscaling | RTX 4060 | RTX 5060 | Arc B580, RTX 5060, RTX 4060 Ti 8GB |
| 4K 60 FPS, Ultra with upscaling | RTX 3070 | RTX 5060 Ti 16GB | RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, RX 7700 XT, RTX 4070 |
Our estimates put 1080p 60 FPS on High within reach of the GTX 1660 Super and above, with the RTX 5050 as the cheapest RTX 50 route there.
Moving up to 1440p, the RX 7600 is the lowest card that holds 60 FPS on High, and the RTX 5050 is the first RTX 50 option.
For 4K, upscaling does most of the work: with Quality upscaling the RTX 5060 is the first RTX 50 card to hit 60 FPS on High.
NVIDIA, AMD and Intel cards all appear in the list. For a personal answer with your own CPU and RAM, use the can my PC run it checker, or see whether your processor limits you in the bottleneck checker.

Estimated graphics memory use on High settings. Too little VRAM hurts smoothness whatever the GPU speed.
| Your VRAM | 1080p Low | 1080p High | 1440p High | 4K High |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 6 GB | Fine | Fine | Tight | Not enough |
| 8 GB | Fine | Fine | Fine | Tight |

| 16 GB | Fine | Fine | Fine | Fine |
| 24 GB | Fine | Fine | Fine | Fine |
We put TUNG at close to 4 GB at 1080p High, 5.2 GB at 1440p and 7.2 GB at 4K. That is an estimate derived from the recommended GPU, so treat it as a guide and leave some memory spare.
Dropping texture quality is the quickest way to save memory: stepping from High to Medium trims the estimate to close to 4.4 GB at 1440p.

The memory and storage Steam asks for, and how to read it.
The publisher lists 8 GB RAM of memory as the minimum and 16 GB RAM as recommended. In real use, with everything else running, 16 GB is enough for most people.
On disk, plan for close to 3 GB free. At 100 Mbps with typical overhead that is roughly 5 min to download, or close to 1 min at 500 Mbps.
There is no SSD requirement on the page, but faster storage never hurts.
Size your memory with the RAM calculator, which counts Windows, background apps and streaming on top of the game. Time the download with the download time calculator.

If you are comparing TUNG with other games, these pages cover titles with a similar hardware appetite or shared genres. Demand scores run on the same scale, so they are directly comparable.
At the time we checked (2026-11-02) Steam showed 1,874 reviews with a Very Positive rating and 88% positive. That is a useful signal for how widely played TUNG is.
The game is out for close to 1 month. Updates from Niche Games and new graphics drivers can both change how it runs, so revisit your settings occasionally.
The facts above are from the public Steam store page. We have not tested the game on every card, so frame rates on this page are modelled estimates.
A short, honest note on how the numbers are produced.
Here is what feeds the estimates: demand 28 from the recommended card, CPU score 32 (from an assumed processor line), and a 1080p High VRAM figure of 4 GB (estimated from the demand score).
The model divides a card's performance score by the game demand, scaled for resolution, preset and upscaling, with a penalty when memory runs short and a ceiling set by a fast reference processor.
These are modelled estimates, not benchmarks. Real results change with drivers, patches, cooling, the scene you play and your processor. Use the numbers to compare cards and settings, then check them in the game.
Short answers to the most common questions about running TUNG on PC.
On the Steam page the entry card is GTX 1050 and the recommended card is GTX 1080, with Intel Core i5 as the processor and RAM of 8 GB RAM at minimum (16 GB RAM recommended). Storage needed is 3 GB available space.
Compare your GPU with the verdict table above, or enter your exact parts in our can my PC run it checker. By our estimates the first card to hit 60 FPS at 1080p on High is the GTX 1660 Super.
Aim for the GTX 1660 Super or better for 1080p at 60 FPS on High; the RTX 5050 is the first current RTX 50 card to manage it.
For a smooth 1440p you want the RX 7600 at minimum, and among RTX 50 cards the RTX 5050 is the first that gets there.
Our estimate is close to 135 FPS at 1080p and 87 FPS at 1440p on High settings. It has 8 GB of VRAM, which is comfortable for this game at 1440p, so you can usually raise the settings.
According to our estimates it manages close to 174 FPS at 1440p on High, and close to 253 FPS with Quality upscaling. Real results vary with drivers, the scene and your processor.
The RTX 5060 is the entry point for 4K here, and only with Quality upscaling switched on.
Expect 4 GB at 1080p, 5.2 GB at 1440p and 7.2 GB at 4K. That leaves 8GB fine for 1080p and fine for 1440p, so keep a margin.
The model suggests 4 GB (1080p), 5.2 GB (1440p) and 7.2 GB (4K) on High. The figure is derived from the publisher recommended specs; read it as a guide.
Steam recommends Intel Core i5 and lists Intel Core i3 as the minimum. By our estimates Core i3-12100F, Ryzen 5 3600, Core i5-12400F, Ryzen 5 5600 and faster can keep a card fed above 60 FPS here.
The listing asks for 8 GB RAM minimum and 16 GB RAM recommended memory. In real use, 16 GB is a sensible target.
Plan for 3 GB available space of free space. Steam does not state an SSD requirement, but an SSD is recommended for loading times.
By our estimates these laptop GPUs reach 60 FPS at 1080p on High at typical power limits: RTX 5050 Laptop, RTX 5060 Laptop, RTX 5070 Laptop, RTX 5070 Ti Laptop, RTX 5080 Laptop, RTX 5090 Laptop. Results depend on the power limit (TGP) and cooling.
