The Mermaid Mask is an Adventure/Casual/Indie game by SFB Games, out for about 4 months. This guide covers the official PC requirements, modelled frame rates on 28 graphics cards, VRAM needs, processor and memory advice, the best settings and laptop performance.

How this game ranks among 937 modelled titles, and how that plays out for entry, mid-range and high-end cards.
Across the 937 games we have modelled, The Mermaid Mask lands on a demand score of 4, ahead of 0% of them. In plain terms it is a light game for graphics hardware.
Behind the number is the publisher minimum card, Intel HD Graphics, converted to an equivalent 1080p High workload. That makes the score comparable between games, though not exact for any single one.
For the processor we score The Mermaid Mask at 32, which is above 47% of our data set.
Everything Steam gives for The Mermaid Mask, then what it means for real hardware.
Taken from the Steam store page; developers can revise these with updates.
The listed minimum is Intel HD Graphics. Our model puts it near 147 FPS at 1080p on Low and 81 FPS on High, so treat it as an entry ticket rather than a target.
The publisher gives a minimum specification and nothing higher, so we model The Mermaid Mask from the minimum card. That makes the estimates more approximate than usual.
Memory is listed as 2 GB RAM at minimum and 2 GB RAM recommended, with 1 GB available space needed on disk.
The lowest graphics card we tested that hits each target in The Mermaid Mask, plus the first desktop RTX 50 card that does.

| 4K 60 FPS, Ultra with upscaling | GTX 1060 6GB | RTX 5050 | GTX 1660 Super, RTX 2060, RX 6600 |
Start at the GTX 1060 6GB if you want 60 FPS at 1080p on High. Among current RTX 50 cards, the RTX 5050 is the first to manage it.
For a smooth 1440p on High you want at least the GTX 1060 6GB. Within the RTX 50 range that means the RTX 5050 or above.
4K is the hard case. With Quality DLSS, FSR or XeSS-style upscaling enabled, the RTX 5050 is where the RTX 50 range first hits 60 FPS on High.
Cards across NVIDIA, AMD and Intel are included. To test your own parts, open the can my PC run it checker and check for a processor limit in the bottleneck checker.

For balance, look at RTX 5090 with Ryzen 7 9800X3D. The CPU can prepare around 291 FPS and the card can draw about 360+ FPS at 1440p, which is a close match.
Treat the builds as worked examples. Your own CPU and GPU can be tested together in the bottleneck checker.
RAM and disk space from the Steam page, with a practical view.
For RAM, expect 2 GB RAM at minimum and 2 GB RAM recommended. Allow for the operating system and background apps, which means 16 GB is a sensible floor.
On disk, plan for about 1 GB free. At 100 Mbps with typical overhead that is roughly 2 min to download, or close to 0 min at 500 Mbps.
Steam does not state an SSD requirement, so an SSD still improves loading times, but a hard drive should not stop the game launching.
Add up your own needs in the RAM calculator: it adds Windows, a browser and any streaming to the game's own needs. Check how long the install takes with the download time calculator.

Steam players rate The Mermaid Mask as Overwhelmingly Positive, with 99% of 2,235 reviews positive when we checked on 2026-11-02. Review scores say little about performance, but a large, positive audience means plenty of community advice on settings.
It was out for about 4 months when we wrote this guide, so expect patches and driver updates to move the numbers a little over time.
Facts come from the public Steam store page. We have not tested the game on every card, so frame rates on this page are estimates from our model.
A short, honest note on how the numbers are produced.
Here is what feeds the estimates: demand 4 from the minimum card, CPU score 32 (from an assumed processor line), and a 1080p High VRAM figure of 2 GB (estimated from the demand score).
The model divides a card's performance score by the game demand, scaled for resolution, preset and upscaling, with a penalty when memory runs short and a ceiling set by a fast reference processor.
Nothing on this page is a measured benchmark. Expect real frame rates to differ with drivers, updates and your own system, and treat the tables as a guide.
Short answers to the most common questions about running The Mermaid Mask on PC.
The minimum card is Intel HD Graphics and the recommended card is Intel HD Graphics. For the processor, Steam suggests Intel Core i3 or equivalent, and RAM runs from 2 GB RAM to 2 GB RAM. Storage needed is 1 GB available space.
The quickest route is the can my PC run it checker. As a rule of thumb, the GTX 1060 6GB is the first card we tested that holds 60 FPS at 1080p on High.
The GTX 1060 6GB is where 1080p at 60 FPS on High starts in our modelling, and the RTX 5050 is the cheapest RTX 50 way to get there.
At 1440p, 60 FPS on High starts with the GTX 1060 6GB. In the RTX 50 range that means the RTX 5050 or above.
Expect roughly 253 FPS at 1080p and 253 FPS at 1440p on High. With 8 GB of memory, 1440p is comfortable, so you can usually raise the settings.
In our estimates it manages close to 253 FPS at 1440p on High, and roughly 253 FPS with Quality DLSS, FSR or XeSS-style upscaling. Real results vary with drivers, the scene and your processor.
The RTX 5050 is the entry point for 4K here, and only with Quality upscaling switched on.
On High settings the model wants about 2 GB at 1080p, 2.6 GB at 1440p and 3.6 GB at 4K. An 8GB card is therefore fine at 1080p and fine at 1440p.
Our estimate is 2 GB at 1080p, 2.6 GB at 1440p and 3.6 GB at 4K using the High preset. That is derived from the publisher recommended specs, so it is a guide rather than a measurement.
The recommended processor is Intel Core i3 or equivalent and lists Intel Core i3 or equivalent as the minimum. In the model, Core i3-12100F, Ryzen 5 3600, Core i5-12400F, Ryzen 5 5600 and faster keep a graphics card fed above 60 FPS in this game.
The listing asks for 2 GB RAM minimum and 2 GB RAM recommended memory. In real use, 16 GB is a sensible target.
No SSD requirement is listed, though faster storage still helps loading. Plan for 1 GB available space of free space.
The laptop GPUs that hold 60 FPS at 1080p on High at typical power are RTX 5050 Laptop, RTX 5060 Laptop, RTX 5070 Laptop, RTX 5070 Ti Laptop, RTX 5080 Laptop, RTX 5090 Laptop. Wattage and cooling will change that.
Try High with the best upscaler in the menu, then reduce shadows and volumetrics if you need more frames. Use the settings table as a first guess for your card.
We score it 4 on our demand scale, harder to run than 0% of the 937 games we model, which we call undemanding. Its CPU score of 32 is above 47% of the games we model.
