Looking at Dressmaker, a Casual and Simulation game from Cozy Lives. We work through the official specs, estimate frame rates on 28 graphics cards, size up the VRAM and processor needs and suggest settings and laptop options.

Where this game sits among 937 modelled titles, with a look at what that means for each class of card.
We rate the graphics demand of Dressmaker at 4. That puts it above 0% of the 937 modelled games and firmly in the undemanding band.
We take the minimum graphics card The Steam page lists (Intel UHD 630 or Better) and translate it into a 1080p High demand figure. The result ranks games well, but individual frame rates will vary.
Processor demand is rated separately: Dressmaker scores 32 on our CPU scale, higher than 47% of the games we model.
The official specs for Dressmaker, compared with real graphics cards and processors.
These are the developer figures on Steam, and patches can change them.
Steam names Intel UHD 630 or Better as the minimum graphics card. Expect around 147 FPS at 1080p Low, or around 81 FPS if you raise the preset to High.
The publisher gives a minimum specification and nothing higher, so we model Dressmaker from the minimum card. That makes the estimates more approximate than usual.
You will need 8 GB RAM of RAM at minimum or 8 GB RAM to match the recommended spec, plus 2 GB available space on your drive.
Pick a target and see the card it needs in Dressmaker.

The lowest card we tested that holds 60 FPS at 1080p on High is the GTX 1060 6GB, and the first desktop RTX 50 card to do it is the RTX 5050.
Raise the target to 1440p and the bar moves: the GTX 1060 6GB is the lowest card to achieve 60 FPS on High, while the RTX 5050 is the first RTX 50 card to get there.
For 4K, upscaling does most of the work: with Quality upscaling the RTX 5050 is the first RTX 50 card to achieve 60 FPS on High.
Cards across NVIDIA, AMD and Intel are included. Add your own processor, memory and settings in the can my PC run it checker and check for a processor limit in the bottleneck checker.

The table reads the model results as plain advice. Older cards such as the GTX 1060 and RTX 2060 are measured against the same High settings, so a poor result there usually means "drop to Medium", not "cannot run".
In this game the RTX 5070 returns around 253 FPS at 1440p while the RTX 5060 returns 253 FPS, a gap of 0% that is worth weighing against price.

The memory and storage Steam asks for, and how to read it.
Memory first. Steam sets 8 GB RAM as the minimum and 8 GB RAM as the recommended amount. With Windows, a browser and a chat app open, 16 GB leaves comfortable headroom.
On disk, plan for around 2 GB free. At 100 Mbps with typical overhead that is roughly 3 min to download, or around 1 min at 500 Mbps.
No SSD requirement is listed, but solid-state storage still helps with load times.
Add up your own needs in the RAM calculator, which counts Windows, background apps and streaming on top of the game. Time the download with the download time calculator.

These guides sit closest to Dressmaker in our data, either because they share genres or because they are about as hard to run. The demand scores use one common scale.
At the time we checked (2026-11-02) Steam showed 14,145 reviews with a Overwhelmingly Positive rating and 99% positive. That is a useful signal for how widely played Dressmaker is.
It was out for around 2 months when we wrote this guide, so expect patches and driver updates to move the numbers a little over time.
Facts come from the public Steam store page. We have not benchmarked every card, so treat the frame rates on this page as modelled figures.
A short, honest note on how the numbers are produced.
Three numbers drive this page: graphics demand 4 (from the minimum card), CPU score 32 (from an assumed processor line) and VRAM of 2 GB at 1080p High (estimated from the demand score).
Each card is scored against the game demand, then scaled for resolution, quality preset and DLSS, FSR or XeSS-style upscaling. If a card has less VRAM than the game wants, the estimate drops, and a processor ceiling stops frame rates running away.
These are modelled figures, not benchmarks. Real results change with drivers, patches, cooling, the scene you play and your processor. Use the numbers to compare cards and settings, then check them in the game.
Short answers to the most common questions about running Dressmaker on PC.
Steam names Intel UHD 630 or Better as the minimum graphics card and Intel UHD 630 or Better as the recommended one. The recommended processor is Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen, with memory at 8 GB RAM minimum and 8 GB RAM recommended. Storage needed is 2 GB available space.
The quickest route is the can my PC run it checker. As a rule of thumb, the GTX 1060 6GB is the first card we tested that holds 60 FPS at 1080p on High.
On our figures the GTX 1060 6GB is the lowest card we tested that holds 60 FPS at 1080p on High, and the RTX 5050 is the first desktop RTX 50 card to do so.
For a smooth 1440p you want the GTX 1060 6GB at minimum, and among RTX 50 cards the RTX 5050 is the first that gets there.
At High settings it should manage around 253 FPS (1080p) and 253 FPS (1440p). 8 GB of VRAM is comfortable for 1440p, so you can usually raise the settings.
On our figures it manages around 253 FPS at 1440p on High, and close to 253 FPS with Quality upscaling. Real results vary with drivers, the scene and your processor.
At 4K you will lean on upscaling: the RTX 5050 is where RTX 50 first delivers 60 FPS on High that way.
On High settings the model wants around 2 GB at 1080p, 2.6 GB at 1440p and 3.6 GB at 4K. An 8GB card is therefore fine at 1080p and fine at 1440p.
Plan on around 2 GB at 1080p, 2.6 GB at 1440p and 3.6 GB at 4K on High. It is derived from the publisher recommended specs, not a measured value.
The recommended processor is Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen and lists Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen as the minimum. In the model, Core i3-12100F, Ryzen 5 3600, Core i5-12400F, Ryzen 5 5600 and faster keep a graphics card fed above 60 FPS in this game.
RAM is 8 GB RAM at minimum and 8 GB RAM recommended. Once the operating system and background apps are counted, 16 GB is a sensible target.
No SSD requirement is listed, though faster storage still helps loading. Plan for 2 GB available space of free space.
The laptop GPUs that hold 60 FPS at 1080p on High at typical power are RTX 5050 Laptop, RTX 5060 Laptop, RTX 5070 Laptop, RTX 5070 Ti Laptop, RTX 5080 Laptop, RTX 5090 Laptop. Wattage and cooling will change that.
Start on High, turn on the best DLSS, FSR or XeSS-style upscaling mode the game offers, then lower the heaviest settings such as shadows and volumetric effects. The settings table above gives a starting point for several cards.
We score it 4 on our demand scale, harder to run than 0% of the 937 games we model, which we call undemanding. Its CPU score of 32 is above 47% of the games we model.
Check the upgrade section: it shows what each step up gains at 1440p in this game, which is the best way to weigh cost against benefit.
